As I sit in the house, watching it snow like crazy, I can't help but think how fun it will be this time next year. Just think, Dylan has never seen snow. He may freeze his tiny little hiney off, but it will be so cool to see his reaction. He will be 1 1/2 years old. We will be preparing for Christmas and it will be excitement like we have never seen. I know you moms out there know what I am talking about. Children just make Christmas fun, and our family really wants to have a little child around. This will be the first grandchild for my parents, so it will be exciting and he will be spoiled rotten! (Click on the pictures to really see the size of the flakes!)I think about him all the time. I read a post on my adoption board from a mom that is waiting on news and she said she feels so obsessed because she keeps checking websites and looking for updates. I totally understand the feeling. I check my email like crazy to see if our paper work has been translated, do we have a login date, do we have a new pictures. I did really well with the wait until I saw my baby. Everytime I turn on my computer, he is there and I want to reach out and kiss and hug that sweet boy. When I go to the fridge, I see his picture and just want to grab those sweet little cheeks. (could be a a good diet plan).
So I am sitting in this house, watching the snow (HUGE flakes), wrapped in a blanket thinking about my boy! I sure can't watch anything, because it is all about the snow! (Anyone who lives in Oklahoma knows that one snow flake and it is a big news day) I can't get out and do anything because it is too stinking cold! So I will just sit here and dream about my sweet little boy. (And of course check email!)

How special that Dylan is the first grandchild. Spoiled? Nah! :)
Next year will be so wonderful! He will love the snow and all the beauty of Christmas. Have fun dreaming of your little boy...he will be home soon :)
I loved the post! Oh the snow days of OKC. I think my favorite new cast when we lived there occured in the snow and the reported HAD to show us how quickly the ice froze on a frying pan. Enjoy your time off. Just think Dylan will soon be with you when you have snow days!
