Well, I don't know how long you have followed this journal, but if you have for a while, then you might remember I was on a quest for wall paper border for quite some time. I thought my husband was going to kill me. Every night, I would come home from work, eat dinner, and then ebay...here I come. That was during the summer. The problem was I had picked the bedding and the border that matches was discontinued. I was like a crazy woman. Finally, I settled on something that was not exactly what I wanted, but it worked for me. I needed to have a room partially put together. Now that we know we have a son, I was lying in bed one night, it was about 10:45, and I said to Mark, we need to change that border. I believe his exact words were "WHAT????" I said, I am getting up to look on the computer. The next words out of his mouth were...."Oh NO, not again."
Well believe it or not, I think I spent, not quite an hour and I found it!!! The perfect border. It does indeed exist. I think that the company has made a new border. It matches PERFECTLY!So take one guess to what we did? We worked on Dylan's room and it looks wonderful! I can't believe how the border changed the room. It is perfect. I love the border, I love the room. We found letters to spell out his name, we hung the many decorations I have picked up over the last few months. It is all starting to come together. We had fun this afternoon. Mark did a lot of the work, especially since I have been sick as a dog. I had bronchitis and some kind of viral infection as well. Double dose, and believe me, I felt it. I had a fever for a week. I have NEVER had a fever that long. But I guess even sickness can't stop me from loving fixing up the room and preparing for my precious angel.
So check out the before shots. This is how the room has looked for the last few months.
And here is the room now! I am very happy wit
h it and the border has completely changed the room. It looks totally different and much better. This is really a lot of fun! By the way, I have a shower coming up on Dec. 12. So I registered last weekend.

Check out the other shots of the room!
Those of you who actually know Mark, will probably understand when I tell you that trying to get Mark to hang these letters like this, just about killed him! You have to know my husband to fully understand, but he didn't think this right, he would have probably pulled out the tape measure and a level and hung these letters correctly!
By the time we got to the sheep, he actually
started having fun with the craziness! He even started making them jump high and I didn't have to say, really, it is ok to hang that crooked! The shelf didn't really change, but we actually put the border completely around the room. Dylan's first presents from his Nana and Papa are hanging on the shelf.

What fun! I'll bet you really enjoyed putting together a room now that you have "seen" your son.
How precious! I really like the letters all about like that, but my husband would have wanted to break out the level, too. Sometimes they just don't get it :) The sheep are adorable and I really like the built ins. What a fun room!
The room is beautiful! And I have to agree- I like the 2nd border best *lol* Have fun with your baby shower!
Adorable!
I love it! I also understand ebay late at night! Once you get an itch you have to scratch!
Awww! The room looks great! It just goes to prove that late night shopping isn't a bad thing.
