First Shower

We are having our first shower on Tuesday. Some friends from work are throwing it for us. Apparently they are expecting a lot of people. Sounds exciting. I will post pictures and info about the shower. I am excited because my mom is coming to town, so she will be here for the shower. We also plan to do a little shopping while she is here. Mark is going to be out of town, so it will just be the girls.

Step 2 in anticipating the arrival of Dylan is cleaning the carpets and the rocking chair that is in his room. They come tomorrow to clean it all. We are in desparate need of carpet cleaning.

Hopefully we will hear something this week about the progress of our paper work. It would be nice if we could get our LID (log in date) soon. Lots of excitement this week in the adoption world. Three people from our group received referrals. It was very exciting. I am so grateful that I have the support of our little network. Everyone is so nice and celebrates the little victories with each other. Thanks to our wonderful agency, I have a great support system.
