Day 62- Funny Boy

So the boy just cracks me up sometimes.  This week they are studying the Letter Y and frogs.  So for show and tell, you either pick something that starts with Y or something about frogs.  We are driving home from my mom's house and it is late.  I am trying to keep him awake, so we are talking about show and tell.  I ask him what he wants to take.

M: Well, we need something that starts with Y.
D: Hmmm...I know, how about yogurt, yogurt starts with Y.
M: Yogurt?  You want to take yogurt for show and tell.
D: Yes, yogurt starts with Y.
M: you can't take yogurt.  It has to be cold or it will get yucky.
D: But yogurt starts with Y.
M: I know but it will get yucky, you can't take yogurt.
D: Mom.....(now you will have to picture this) BIG HUGE SIGH!!!

It is starting already!  I am so stupid!!!

Also on the way home, it gets quiet.  I figure I lost him!  We get to a light and it turns yellow...well of course I do what all good drivers do....speed up and run through it.  From the back I hear a faint. WHOA!!!!  Silly backseat driver!

We get home, I get into the back to let him out of the car seat and this is what I see.



 As you can see the eye are barely open, before I can say a word, he says...I'm not sleepy!  yeah RIGHT!

He goes to bed, all is well, I start the dishwasher and I decide, you know what would sound really good right now, a glass of chocolate milk!  I pour a glass and get ready to sit and relax and drink a glass of the guilty pleasure. 

Low and behold who should appear right behind me....the boy!  I turn around and he is standing there with BIG eyes and says...You are drinking chocolate milk!  Man!  He sure knows how to make a girl feel guilty!  Night all!
