Day 61-Pancake Waffles

So funny story.  Last Saturday, Daddy had to work at the church for a little bit, so the boy and I were left to fend for ourselves.  So of course it had to be pancakes and bacon.  I pulled out the waffle maker and said...hey about about waffles.  Now sadly, waffles to my child is Ego brand! He was not thrilled seeing as he has that a lot on those busy school mornings.  But I showed him the fancy waffle maker and we started mixing up the batter.  This excited my little chef!  We cooked up yummy waffles and turkey bacon and had a great breakfast!

Well, needless to say, Monday rolled around and it was breakfast time.  Asked him what he wanted, he said...waffles!  Pulled out the 'ol standby mr. Ego himself!  And the boy started to cry...NO.NO..pancake waffles!  haha.  I said sorry charlie, not enough time.

So Daddy went to the Thunder game tonight and the mice were left to play.  So pancake waffles it was for dinner!  My little chef was very excited!

On another note, I cannot for the life of me figure out why this boy keeps getting holes in his jeans.  Same place, same leg, same start.  Tiny hole.  Well he had to wear the holey jeans to school today and low and behold, he came home with the most stylish looking pants.  BIG HOLE!  Man...this is just he beginning isn't it!  Boys are rough on clothes and shoes!!!

(sorry for the blurry phone photos...I do have a better camera, just too lazy to use it!)
