Day 25 - Mail Time!!!

Here's the Mail, it never fails....... are you singing it??? If you are then you have or have had a 2-3 year old child that loves the blue puppy.  Can you believe we still love the puppy in this house???  Some kids are Disney Kids, some kids are PBS kids and some kids are Nick Jr. Kids.  (of course some kids don't fall in any of the categories because let's face it...they don't live with MOY so they don't get to watch TV)

Mine is a Nick Jr Kid.  Don't get me wrong, ,he will watch occassional Disney, but mainly Nick.  Anyway, for Christmas our great friends the Nimmo's gave Dylan a magazine subscription for just his age.  It is ALL about animals.  If you know my child, then you know that is right up his alley.  First magazine was received today.  Has his NAME on it!  He did notice that.  He sat down and started "reading" his magazine.

Most exciting part about the magazine it had an elephant on the cover!  He says, Mom...that's my favorite animal.  (Like I didn't know that).  Yes, he has started calling me mom.  Don't like that.  I like mama, better.  Mom sounds to big and reminds me of when I was a teenager and mean to mad at my mom.

We get to the middle of the book and wouldn't you know there is a cut-out that makes (wait for it) an elephant book!  We were in heaven!  So to the Nimmo's.  Score one for you...great present! Kid loves it!  And I agree with Julie, Tuesday, there just really isn't anything special about Tuesday. Maybe we should eliminate Tuesday from the Calendar.  It sure would make the week shorter!
