What's Up?

Not much. Life is moving along as usual. Nothing major happening. We celebrated Tet at Zak's house. It was a lot of fun. (I was looking for the best pic of the 3 boys...but ended up with the funniest. It is like this all the time we try to get the picture of the 3 boys)

Dylan's school had a Valentine Party/short program. He walked into the room, saw me, acted like he wanted to cry. His teacher whispered something in his ear and he sat there just pouting but NO crying! The kids sang songs, he participated in the little train, even let a little girl hold onto his shoulders. Then on the last song, he actually sang and did the hand motions. I was so proud. He has made such progress. Of course I am a loser...I forgot my camera (can't believe it).

He can now spell about 5 words. He can spell, Dylan, moon, cow, mama, and ice. I know..random words. Most of it comes from Blue's Clues. Even though we are sick of seeing every episode of Blue, it really is a great show...it sure teaches a lot of great concepts.

He is still going to speech. He is doing pretty good. I can see progress. Some of his sounds are sounding clearer. He is babbling all the time (we never went through that stage). He copies pretty much everything we say (you can tell he is saying it even though it isn't clear). We still have to work on deciphering some of his words, but he is doing great.

Dylan still has a problem with putting things in his mouth. He is like a little human vaccuum cleaner! Drives me crazy. The latest thing he has done, he is eating the tips off the ends of his markers. Yes, I am real close to having to make the call to poison control ..."exactly how many non-toxic markers can you eat before it becomes a problem?"

He has developed a flair for the dramatics. If something is not quite going his way, he will toss his cup (or whatever) on the floor, fake cry, then fall on the floor face down and fake cry. It isn't really a tantrum, it is more of a dramatic....whoa is me. Doesn't last very long, but it is entertaining.

He keeps us entertained with all his silly stuff that he does. Life is never dull. He likes to wear our shoes, and try to do the things that we do, he like to be a big boy. We have worked some on potty training, he has pee peed in the potty a couple of times. So, we are starting. This is going to be a very slow process for us. He doesn't care if he is wet or even dirty. So, we have a ways to go. I will leave you with a few pics of him in his Superman PJ's. He was really acting out for us.....cracked me up. With my new awesome camera I was able to catch some pretty funny poses. He looks like Superman!

My boys had those same Superman PJs. Have him stand on top of the vent when the air is blowing and it will make his cape blow out like he's flying! :-)
