Well we got our first smile!!!!!! See Kim, I told you he would smile! Of course he smiled at his daddy first!!! But he is a pretty goofy guy, so that is to be expected! He did really well on the bus ride. We slept a little and he was just soaking it all in. When we stopped to eat, we gave him a couple of teething tablets and he was a new boy! He doesn't have any teeth yet, but he is getting a new one on the bottom right now.This evening, I got a lot more smiles, but I couldn't catch them with the camera. As soon as the flash went off, he got all serious!
This is where his daddy was making faces at him, I was able to get a shot of his personality. He is so SWEET!
He is also a thinker. He just soaks up his surroundings, with a furrowed brow. Sometimes, it is just wide eyed, in awe.
I was trying to catch the smiles! He was having a good time. He would smile at both Mark and I. Also this evening, when Mark left to go to the store, I was making sounds and he was copying me! We were having a good time. I surprised me when he copied me, and of course it made us both laugh.

YAY! CONGRATULATIONS! Welcome to parenthood! He is simply beautiful - what a sweet smile! The look on Mark's face is priceless - he is obviously about to burst. Hope all is going well and I can't wait to read more!

I love that personality! He and Brayden should get along great! You can tell he is teething with that tongue behind that lip! Was this the first time the boys were outside of the orphanage?

How fun to see him smile! First I laughed, then teared up. I'm so happy for you. What is really cool is that I can see a sparkle in his eyes now that I haven't seen in his previous pictures.
