Happy Valentine's Day

So I was thinking, here is another holiday that is our last as a married couple only. Sometimes it just blows my mind to think Dylan is coming home soon. We are both so ready and so excited. I am sure we will miss the times of just us, but we are ready for this new adventure in our life. We have wanted a child for a long time, but we have chosen to appreciate the almost 10 years we have spent as man and wife. I really think that we will be different parents. (in a good way) We are older, we have been married for a long time, we are great friends and I know Mark will be a great father. So here is to our last Valentine's Day!

Since M is in Houston, we celebrated V-day this weekend. We attended a "Sweetheart" Banquet put on by our church. It was very nice. Everyone dresses up, we had a catered dinner, and some musical entertainment. Also, I received very pretty diamond earrings! Isn't he sweet. So all in all....a very good way to send our last couple's only valentine's day.

This weekend the church is giving me a shower. I am really looking forward to it. My mom is coming down tomorrow. We are going to reorganize cabinets, closets, and set up all the fun stuff that Dylan is getting. I think that will be a lot of fun. I will post pictures after we have set up his room. It is starting to fill up in there! Amazing how much stuff such a little guy requires!

No new news, sounds like we might be getting another picture in another 2-3 weeks. So that is nice, news would be better, but I will NEVER turn down a picture of my precious boy. Our director is going to Vietnam next week, so hopefully I will have updates. Until then, enjoy Valentine's.
