First Group Travels

Well, the first group travels to Vietnam today. There are 2 families on their way to Vietnam to pick up their babies. There are about 5 families that should follow suit in the next few weeks. It is so cool that the first group is on their way. Right now we are still waiting for our "special" paper from Immigration. As soon as we get that, we will start moving forward again. Hopefully we will have that paper next week. But I won't be surprised if it takes 2 more weeks. They said 4-6 weeks. This week will be 4. I can't wait to get a referral. That will be the real exciting part.

Mark and I are going to another class in Tulsa a week from Saturday. This is a required class by the agency. They will cover things like what to take to Vietnam, and how to handle the 24 HOUR plane trip, things to do in the hotel room while in Vietnam...just general stuff like that. I really would like to hear about what to take and about the plane trip. That is the part that gives me the most anxiety. I don't want to be that person that everyone is saying...."Can't she shut that kid up" But I bet by that time, I really won't care.
