Invitro Begins

Well, today was the first step in the invitro process. I have been poked and proded for months now. I was sitting in the ultrasound room, my home away from home, and realized that I have spent a lot of time in there over the last 10 months! That is how long I have been going through infertility treatments.

I start birth control tomorrow, I know, sounds like a contradiction. But that is the process. So I have about 21 days before all the shots begin. Today we did a mapping, which is basically a test run. Dr. K goes in and makes a map of where he will place the eggs in the uterus. Didn't take very long. So, here we go! I hope this time works!
