Day 114 - Forever Family Day

Well today is special for many reasons.  Most importantly, it is EASTER.  The day our Savior rose again!  What a special day.  We of course had a great sermon at church, and an egg hunt that was indoors due to the AWESOME rain we received today.  It was very nice.  The boy had a blast! And of course has WAY too much candy!

The other reason today is SO important is because it is our 4th forever family day!  Can you believe that 4 years ago today, this little boy became our son!!!  It is so hard to believe, that 4 years ago I was riding on a bus, terrified.  We were headed to the orphanage for the last time.  We were taking this little boy home with us forever.  He cried everytime we saw him.  I just knew he was going to hate me.  I was so sick to my stomach!  But who knew, 4 years later, he can't stand to be out of my sight!  He loves me, and I love him so much I can't even describe it!  What a blessing he is.  God's precious gift to me!  God is always giving me AWESOME gifts!

Yesterday we had a great time, Daddy had to work, so we decided to go to Nana's house for the day.  We had fun coloring eggs, hunting eggs, and riding bikes!  It was so much fun, the day was kind of cool but nice.  The boy LOVES his bike!

He even knows how to stop!  I know...no shoes, no helmet....I guess I am unfit!

He even had his first crash!  It was minor, but we will count it!  He got back up and was going again!!!
