Day 83 - Illness

Well the ugly monster (virus) has set up camp in our house.  I am home today with a sick boy.  We were up most the night changing sheets, washing clothes, and bathing a boy that was covered in throw-up.  His bed was changed 2 times, mine once.  Poor guy.  He couldn't even keep a pedialite popsicle down.  But this morning we may be taking a turn for the better.  He has drank some water and ate one cracker.  We will try some noodle soup when he wakes up.  Yep he is napping (i know...I should too).

This week has been brutal.  Sometimes I wonder why I do this job at all.  I think there has to be something else out there for me, this can't be what I am going to do for the rest of my life.  I just don't like it that much.  But when I think about how long I have done it....I think....yuck, this could be it.
