Day 50 - Nice Saturday

It was a nice, easy going day today.  Nothing pressing to do.  We went to visit Nana and Papa for a little while (after eggs and bacon of course!)  We played outside for a little while.  He wanted to ride his tricycle, well....folks, he is TOO big!  It is time to get the bicycle out.  GOSH!  He is not my baby any more.  It is killing me!  He is growing too fast!

Of course everytime we go to Nana and Papa's house he has to play "the game".  See mom bought this Veggie Tales game at Mardel.  It is called Seek and Match or something like that.  It is like a memory game on steroids.  And of course playing with the boy takes FOREVER!

There are cards all over the board face down.  You have a card with pictures on it and you are trying to find the right pictures.  You have to move around the board and find your pictures.  No one can ever remember where their pics are.  My dad is pretty good at remembering, the boy...forget it.  Mom...yeah right...and me, well I blame it on keeping the boy from cheating!

Anyway, he likes for 4 players to play.  Well, Papa was in the shower, so guess what!  We had a guest player today!

Folks I am here to tell you....he really did play.  And you know how slow the boy is...well now that he plays twice....imagine how slow!!! OH MY WORD!  We thought this game would never end!  Trying to keep 2 players from cheating is a little much for me.

And Buzz would move the game piece!  Very interesting this boy of mine.  For a while it really did look like buzz was going to win.  I told my mom that would be embarrassing!  But don't worry, the boy got distracted and we were able to just end the game (thank goodness).  This game and Chutes and Ladders are the LONGEST GAMES EVER!!!!
