Day 35 - Spoiled Rotten

Well, same ol same ol.  It is snowing again today, we are expecting more snow on Monday and Wednesday.  We have gotten really good at making pancakes!  I need to get back to work, because I am just gaining weight sitting in this house eating.
We have made so many pancakes, he is starting to make them himself!
So, I decided that we are spoiled rotten (you thought this title was going to be about the boy didn't you!).  I have sat here for the last few days and complained and whined about the snow and not being able to get out and see people.  Do you know how lucky we are?  We have cable, with anything we want to watch on TV, we have movies (tons of them), we have video games, toys, books, board games, you name it.  We have so many ways to "entertain" ourselves and we just moan and groan because we can't get out due to all the snow.  So as of right now, I am done whining.

Today, I put up the curtains in my room.  Mark started this on Wednesday and didn't get finished because he had trouble getting one of the screws in, so he had to charge his drill. Said he would do it later.  Well, he probably shouldn't have left me here alone with charged power tools.  I had to get these put up today, or he would see the 2 (count them) 2 big holes I put in the newly painted walls.  SHHHHH....don't tell him, they are covered up.  And the worst part is, I never did get the screw in, so I put in a big nail.  Mashed my thumb pretty good, but they are up.  Both of them.  I think they look pretty good if I do say so myself.
My Handy Manny Helper! (Don't say anything about it sloping to one side)
I am most excited.  We are celebrating Tet tomorrow.  Our friends are coming over, so I have been working on the house.  Doing a little cleaning and setting up.  We got out the Ao Dai to see how it fits.  This is the last one I have.  It is a black and red one, size 5.  It fits perfectly.  Actually the first one that fits that well.  I will have to go online to start looking for future ones.  This one has the little hat with the "pony tail" thing.  It is so cute on him!  It reminds me of the little blue one they sent him home in from the orphange..so long ago!  He was excited to "dress up for halloween".  Yeah, got some work to do there!
Sitting at the table, thanks to oriental trading...New Year stuff is hard to come by!

He saw himself in the mirror and said "I'm so handsome!"

Not sure what he is doing here, he just sat down and looked at himself!

He knew he looked good and was showing out dancing around!

Well, should have some good pics tomorrow of the boys!  I am looking forward to seeing our friends! Love it when we all get together!  Better get back to cleaning up!
