Day 8 - Lions Sleeps Tonight

That is what I am hearing over and over.  They boys favorite song is that.  He sings it, he plays in on my phone through YouTube.  He dances to it, he LOVES it.  He acts it out even.  Wish I had a video to show him watching it.  It would probably crack you up.  It might crack me up too if I hadn't already heard the song 5 bizillion times!!!!  Here, maybe you should experience it.




Boy is taking his medicine and he is just feeling ok.  He doesn't seem to want to do too much.  He has been watching tv, reading books, and laying around (mostly on me!)  He will get a short spurt of energy and want to do something, we will get ready to say play cars, and he quits.  So not quite himself, but a little better.
 
Tylenol kicked in long enough for him to pull all toys out of his tub and make a huge mess.  Then while playing his Elmo Chirstmas book music, he was playing drums singining Jingle Bells.

Then my little artist decided to draw me a picture.  He told me it was Buzz Lightyear seeing a whale.  I wrote on the bottom and he got onto me because I was supposed to write it at the top....bossy!!!

So I am trying to survive the afternoon cooped up with a sick child, while trying my hardest to avoid this flu!!!  Wish me luck.  I am sure the coughing in my face, the snot all over my sleeves and shirt, and the kisses all over my face will probably make sure I get it!  Oh well, the kisses might make it worth it.
