2 Years Old Tomorrow

My baby is going to be 2 years old tomorrow! I cannot believe how fast the time has flown. He has actually lived with us longer than he lived in the orphanage! He knows who is family is. He loves his Nana and Papa. He had so much fun with them the last time they were here. His Uncle Steve is living with us (temporily) until the business starts. So they are bonding. He knows who he is. He knows daddy, and loves to play with him. And of course...he knows his mama! Right now, this is the best time! I am the favorite. I am the one that he wants. I am trying to soak this up...knowing that my time is short-lived. Pretty soon, I will not be cool enough. There will come a time that I will only be needed for the "mom" stuff. But right now, I am his favorite.

I have some great pictures I need to post. We have had a very busy month. My parents were here for quite some time during May. We are all settled in the house. Life is good. On the business front things have really picked up. The building is up, they are putting in duct work, walls, etc. Probably by the middle of next month, they will turn it over to us for the "build out". They guys are starting to work on inventory. My house is becoming the store room for the new Play and Trade in Edmond, Oklahoma! It really is going to be a cool store. If you like to play games (like we do), this will be the perfect place. You can actually try out the game before you buy it! Great for parents....so you don't get a "bad" game. Also, it will be good for the true gamers! They will host monthly (or maybe every other month) tournaments. So I think it will be pretty cool.

As I mentioned, my brother has moved in with us. It is going well. Figure he will be with us until the store opens, or my parents get moved down here. They are having trouble selling their house. We also lost my aunt this month. She really will be missed. She had ALS, so it is a blessing in a way that she passed, but it is never easy. She was always so good about sending a card (real mail) to everyone on special occassions. She never forgot birthdays, anniversaries, all special times. I will miss that. She always would tell us about her latest trip. She went everywhere. She actually has been to Every state! I would like to do that.

We are now preparing for a 2 year old party, and to go to the Vietnam Family Reunion. I will post some pics from May and June either later today or tomorrow. Then there will be much more to post over the next couple of weeks. I will share more Dylan stuff on the next post. Maybe I will get better...sorry I have been gone so long! Life gets in the way!
