Where to Begin

Well, let me start with family news first. WE SOLD our house!!! After much pain and agony, we close in less than 2 weeks. Last week was horrible. We had a tough time reaching a deal. I almost committed a murder! I was ready to hunt down the buyers agent and let her have it. After threatening to pull out of all deals and take my house off the market, they finally came to an understanding. I don't think we got a great deal on our current house, but it is over.

Now my new house, (close up pic here) we got a really good deal and I am very happy about that. The house is wonderful, I can't wait to move in it.

Things on the business front are moving right along. The guys signed a lease agreement, now the building will begin. They are moving into a new shopping center, it has not been built yet, they hope they will be ready to open by Sept. 1. We should be the first Play and Trade in Oklahoma. That will be cool (video game store).

Wednesday, Dylan is getting tubes in his ears. After many, many, ear infections, his doctor referred us to an ENT. He said we are a perfect candidate and we go in Wed. morning. I am glad we are getting this done, as any mother would be, I dread the whole process, but the end result should be worth it. We will see. The whole procedure only takes about 15 min, so not bad. They say he should be back to himself by that evening, we will see.

Easter was great, Dylan had a lot of fun. Even though it was very cold, we attended an Easter Egg hunt at our good friend, Paula's house.

Dylan was one of the youngest there, but he had a ball. You can tell he is still a small guy, but he really is growing.
He did a great job of finding the "hidden" eggs. The men "said" they were trying to help the kids out, but I think it was more, let's just get ALL these eggs out there. My child kept pointing to them and took so long to get over to them, they were gone by the time he got there! But he got about 6 or 7..that is enough candy for him (and me!)
Other than that big news, that is pretty much it. This is the best picture I could get of Dylan in his easter outfit, Elmo was on in the background. Don't have time to write, I have to pack!

Tomorrow is Howie's birthday, happy birthday Howie. We hope you have a great birthday. We will be thinking about you.

Great update! Congrats on the new house...it looks lovely...TET at your house next year????

You are in my prayers for the tubes. We did it twice with WB and it made a huge difference in his quality of life! I hope the same for Dylan!
