Well, yesterday we just woke up and had breakfast. We slept in a little bit. Dylan woke up as usual at 5:00, but we were able to give him a bottle, lay him between us and he slept for another hour, hour and a half. So we went to breakfast later than usual. After breakfast, we decided to go shopping at the mall next door. We needed a few things from the grocery store. While we were there, we bought a few things, gifts, clothes for Dylan, things like that. While we were over there, we bumped into the Sala's and the Nimmo's. So we walked around together just buying stuff. We found a pack of basketballs and footballs that we all split. So Daddy took the opportunity to explain these sports to Dylan. He actually listened pretty intently!

We came back to the room for nap time. We had some french fries and fed Dylan some food. Then he was out for about an hour or so. Isn't he adorable when he sleeps. Last night all the families walked to the Diamond Plaza and had Pizza Hut again. It was good of course. Then we walked back in the dark. The city is so pretty at night all lit up. There were all kinds of people out and about. In the center park area, they had vendors, music, pretty much partying going on. We stopped at a little book store on the way back. I picked up some really cute books for Dylan. They have both Vietnamese and English in them. Like a counting book with the numbers and names in English and Vietnamese. Of course we picked up a sports book that shows the different balls and sports. We got letters and we also picked up a bedtime story in both languages. So cheap!! I think I bought about 6 or 7 books and paid around $5.

Today, we went on a tour of Ho Chi Minh City. It was just a morning tour. We had breakfast and left the hotel at 8:00. Our tourguide Ian (think that is how you pronounce his name, don't know how to spell it) told us about some of the buildings. We went inside the post office which was very pretty inside. He tooks us to the War Remnants Museum. This was pretty difficult to look at. It was all about the Vietnam War. We felt VERY American. But no one here has bad feelings towards Americans, they are all very nice! We went inside a buddist temple and saw some people praying. We went to China Town, but the market

was closed. Today is like their Labor Day. We saw a lot of neat places. But were ready to end the tour because the boys were fussy and hungry. We came back to the hotel room and Dylan and I had a nap. I was not feeling too great, I had a rough night last night. Guess Pizza Hut didn't agree with me. We had a cheeseburger for dinner. Haven't had one of those in a long time. Found out tonight that Dylan likes french fries, if they are the mushy kind.

The boys both like to watch TV. Bad sign for me. They have these tv screens pretty much in most of the stores, and Dylan will be glued to it! Crazy.
So now, it is time for bath, and bed time. Tomorrow, we are not sure what we have planned, Minh is supposed to meet us here at the hotel for either our exit interview or medical checks. We will see.

HE IS SO CUTE!
Well, you and Dylan will get along just fine. He can eat the mushy fries and you can have the firm ones! I just love the name Dylan. It fits him so well! The picture on the side of the blog is our favorite!! What a beautiful smile!!
