Oh my goodness, we leave in 4 days! I cannot believe we are this close. Sometimes, it felt like we would never get to this point. We are all so excited. We spent time with the Nimmo's and Sala's Saturday night. We were celebrating our leaving town!!! We were all so excited and talking about all the fun we are about to have.
Mark and I worked hard this weekend. On Saturday, we totally rearranged the living room. We had to make room for the rocking chair. I had it in Dylan's room, but decided I won't rock in his room, I will prefer to be in the living room.
My friend Carie recovered my rocking recliner. It is a good chair, but the old fabric was old and did not match anything in my house. I decided it if was going to be in the living room, it would need to match the other furniture. So, I took a pillow from my couch and looked at fabric. It looks just wonderful! My friend Carie did a great job! And she finished it just in time! I can't wait to get home and rock my sweet baby in this chair!!! And have I said, we will be home in time for Mother's Day! PERFECT!!!
We packed today! We are pretty much done. We did really well. Everything is in except for a few odds and ends that will have to go in last minute...like glasses/contacts, make-up, brush, etc. We did a good job too. We have my HUGE bag, and Mark's bag that we will check. Then we have my carry-on, Mark's carry-on, and Dylan's Diaper bag. Not too bad!!! Right now, Mark's is under weight, but I haven't weighed mine yet. But we should be ok. Vietnam.....ready or not.....here we come!

I am so excited for you. I'm also excited that I will be able to blog stalk people that are in Vietnam in 4 days!! Ya'll are going to have such a great time. Can't wait to follow your trip! Many prayers for ya'll and for Dylan.
Kim, I'm getting butterflies for you guys! I like Jamie's term "blog stalk." That'll be going on from here too. Praying for you all as you travel.

Down to 3 days!! I'm so incredibly excited for you to be in Vietnam and holding your little babe!!! The chair looks great...I can't even imagine being talented enough to do something like that.
Oh my gosh, I can't believe you're leaving so soon! And the chair looks great. Rocking chairs are a necessity with little kids. I spend hours in ours with Anna when she's not feeling well or just needing a little love.
WOW!! Just two more days. I am so excited for you. YIPEEE!!
Just a few more days and you will have Dylan in your arms.
