Well, since I haven't received any news about our paperwork, I thought I would ask our director about Dylan. She just returned in the last week from Vietnam. She was able to see Dylan. So on the off chance she might remember something about him, I asked her a few questions. She did remember and she answered. I really can't say enough about our wonderful agency. All of the people that work there, know what it is like to go through the process and are very understanding, helping, caring, and accomodating. God led us to the right place.
Here is what I found out.
He is called Hai, and I asked how to pronounce his middle name. She said it was something like Ton with a Long o sound.
When asked about food, they have been eating some food, mainly fish, fruits, vegetables, all mashed up. They do have 3-4 bottles a day.
He is sitting up by himself, but he is not crawling yet.
He sleeps in a crib by himself.
When I asked if he was teething and had she seen him smile, she said....Yes, I saw him smile, but didn't see any teeth. (That just melted my heart....see KL he does smile!)
Our 4 Can Tho boys are together all the time, and they have 4 caregivers. Unlike some of the other orphanages, he does wear diapers.
She said we should get height and weight updates soon, so I have that to look forward too. Receiving this information about Dylan helped to brighten a rather sad day. Sounds like he is doing wonderful!

I read your blog every morning to see what you've heard, or what you're thinking. It won't be long now - even a few is a short time in the grand scope of his little life here with you guys. Phyllis
I'm so happy you were able to get some information on Dylan. Every little bit helps while you're waiting. Praying and crossing fingers that you hear something this week!
It was such a relief for me to hear all of that information from Jynger...I hope it really was for you too! I'm still praying for you girl! We WILL make it through this and get our babies home..and OFF that mashed up FISH?!!!! ;)
Love you!
I'm so glad Jynger was able to tell you more about your precious baby boy than you could learn through photos. It won't be long and you'll be learning it all for yourself!
