Well, believe it or not, I have been defending Angelina Jolie lately. Many people have said to me "you must be so mad!" Well, I really am not. What most people don't know is that she and Brad Pitt went to Vietnam back in November. I am guessing they picked out their son at this time. It wasn't until this past week, that he came home. She has to go through the same process we go through. Timelines are different for different people, our agency has taught us that. Each province operates under a different timeline. (Plus it doesn't hurt that she has a few mil to hand out to speed up the process) Even different agencies operate under different timelines. What matters most to us, is that our agency is wonderful. They make sure that everything is legal and follow along carefully to make sure our adoption will go through with as few problems as possible. So I am not angry with Angelina Jolie, I am happy for her. I am glad her son is now home. We will continue to pray that our son will come home quickly.
On another note, in my last post, I told you about our friend Stacy, well turns out it was not her paper work, it was our good friend Kathryn's. Their son Cole has a birthday of July8, Stacy's son Howie has a birthday of April 8. I guess that is why they got them confused. So if you have been praying for Stacy, thank you....now pray for Kathryn and Dusty. Our agency really feels that their paper work will catch up to ours. Please pray that it will and that all four families will be able to travel together. We have all become very close as I am sure our sons are. Please pray for all our families.

I'm with you...not mad at all...she actually started the process last May, according to the People magazine that I read, and since she also got an older child, that made her process go quicker, as we know... And, money does talk...I'm just glad that it benefitted a child in this case! :) We are praying with you...Can Tho Mommies forever! ;)
