Another New Picture!!

We were absolutely thrilled and surprised to receive a new picture today! Isn't he adorable!! This is the first close up shot of him....full body. He is just precious. I am aching to go and get him. I just look at him and I want to pick him up. He looks healthy and I know they are taking wonderful care of him. I can tell. But he needs his momma.

I don't know if you can see it very well, but he is wearing an outfit that has a "teddy bear!!!" and it says USA on it. Isn't that funny, he is in Vietnam and he is wearing a USA jumper. I hope he enjoys that teddybear because he will see A LOT of them.

We also received updated weight/height info. Sounds like he is a little guy. He sounds like he is about average on height, but a little bitty boy when it comes to weight. My mom said don't worry, we will fatten him up! I am sure she will! She will probably stuff him full of cookies and all sorts of things that are bad, that she would never give her own kids, but will give her grandbaby. She is just dying to spoil him rotten!

Not much else to share. We received a letter today saying that Tet will slow everyone down. I was very disappointed to hear that information. Our director indicated that no one would travel until after February and there are a couple of families ahead of us that have been hoping to travel in the next couple of weeks before Tet, but looks like that won't happen. Hopefully, they will get the paperwork together and send it on to Hanoi, so that after the holiday, they can process it and get back on track so we can travel by end of March. (wishful thinking on my part I am afraid.) Anyway, I am happy for the moment with the new picture. Oh, and did you notice...looks like he got a haircut! It is not as wild and looks a bit shorter. I love all the hair!

I DO believe he is saving all his smiles for you and Mark! I'm so happy that we are in the same town and that our boys will grow up friends! Yay for new pictures and yay for an optimistic spirit...we WILL travel soon, I just know it!
He's adorable...Looks like he IS a little teddy bear and I know he will love that beautiful room that you worked so hard on!
