Home Study to Begin

We got our phone call, we will start our home study on Monday night. I have to clean the house, but I am not too concerned, we have actually been working the last couple of weeks cleaning out closets and re-organizing. We had a garage sale to get rid of some junk, so that has really helped. We painted the baby's room. We put in new blinds, now all we need to do is paint the desk. That will probably have to wait til next weekend. We don't want to make a mess before the home study.

I am trying not to be nervous. My aunt told me it was pretty intense process and they asked a LOT of personal questions. But from what I have read on the message boards, it is not that bad. So, I guess we will see. The nice part is we have met our case worker before. She actually did our orientation workshop. So that helps. She is also the moderator of the OKC group. When we have our baby home, we will join the group. Right now I am particpating in the forum.

We have chosen names. Of course I am sure this could change, but right now, this is what we have decided. Abigail Leigh, or Dylan Mark. We had a hard time agreeing to names. We both pretty much liked the girl name, but we went round and round over the boy name. Mark really liked the name Taylor for a girl, I liked Abigail and Whitney. For the boy name, I really liked Tanner or Connor, but he really liked Dylan. So there you have it. We are either waiting for Dylan or Abby.
